Project Overview

Aazmir Electronics is a Dhaka-based retailer specializing in electronics, home appliances, and gadgets. They approached Orixa to build a full-featured eCommerce platform that could handle their extensive product catalog, manage real-time inventory across multiple physical store locations, and deliver a seamless shopping experience to customers nationwide.

The existing business relied on in-store sales and a basic Facebook page. The owner wanted an online presence that could scale - supporting thousands of SKUs, secure payment processing, and delivery logistics integration. They needed it fast, reliable, and easy for their non-technical team to manage.

The Challenge

The primary challenge was migrating a traditional brick-and-mortar inventory into a real-time digital catalog while maintaining accuracy across multiple warehouse locations. The client had no existing digital product database - everything was tracked in handwritten ledgers and spreadsheets.

Additionally, the platform needed to handle high-resolution product images, detailed specifications for hundreds of products, and a search experience that could handle both English and Bangla queries. Delivery integration with Bangladesh's major courier services was also a requirement.

Our Solution

We built a custom eCommerce platform using Next.js for the frontend, providing fast page loads and excellent SEO. The backend runs on Node.js with a PostgreSQL database, structured to handle complex product variants (size, color, warranty options) and real-time stock syncing.

Key features include an admin dashboard with bulk product import/export, automated order routing to the nearest store location, integration with SSLCommerz and bkash for payments, and a delivery tracking system connected to RedX and eCourier APIs.
